Yesterday started out as a very uneventful day. We took a friend and her two kids to the airport in the morning. Then Quest went to work. Then I took some other friends and their baby to a different airport in the afternoon. Then I laid down to take a nap. Quest called at 6:30 to be picked up from work. I picked up my purse, phone, my sunglasses, and our camera and walked out the door locking it on my way out. There was one crucial thing I forgot and that was the keys. It has the house key and the car keys on it. So there I was stuck outside with no way in and no way to start the car.
Quest had to call a locksmith and that took almost an hour for him to showup. Then when he got there it took all of 5 seconds for him to pick the lock, but that 5 seconds cost us $120. I think this was one of my more expensive mistakes ever.
Poor Quest was stuck at work all this time. He ended up being there for almost 12 hours that day. This should never happen again. I have learned from my mistake and that is that I need to put a set of keys in my purse at all times.

I live in a dormitory in university, and we all keep our keys around our necks (it's $50 to replace them). However, it does make you look like a big dork. But hey, it works.
