It's been way too long since the blog has been updated, especially since there were no new posts in the month of March (whoops!) So here's some new pictures of our extremely long road trip to Texas. Overall the trip went great. We had only one real crying episode and that didn't last too long. I was pretty optimistic going into the trip and the girls even exceeded my expectations.
The girls in the mini van each in their newish car seats (Fallon's car seat is actually Shannon's old car seat with an new cover on it)
This tray was totally worth it, Shannon loved that she could color and the crayons wouldn't roll away. Unfortunately she also found out that she can color other places too. But the tray is still a good buy in my opinion.
Shannon gathered up all the fake flowers at GG's (Great Grandma's) house and carried them around for quite a while.
Just a cute picture of Shannon as we are getting ready to leave Arizona. It's not every day she gets to see a huge cactus, and luckily she never tried to touch it.
This picture doesn't really need an explanation, it's just pretty funny :)
This is how Shannon looked for a lot of the trip while watching movies. We actually managed to make it to the 2nd day before we ever even turned on the DVD player.

And of course we can't forget cute little Fallon! She even slept for 5 hours straight on our last day of driving. That was pretty nice for all of us.
